HOST-C NETWORK has completed the deployment of security updates addressing CVE-2026-53359, also known as Januscape.

Advisory details:

  • Vulnerability type: Use-after-free in KVM x86 shadow paging

  • Status: Resolved

  • Completion date: July 16, 2026

The vulnerability could potentially allow a malicious virtual machine with the required access and configuration to crash or compromise its underlying virtualization host.

All affected HOST-C NETWORK infrastructure has been updated, and the necessary server restarts have been completed. All services are currently functioning normally.

No action is required from customers.
