Summary

As part of our routine platform maintenance and security program, the HOST-C billing and customer management platform powered by WHMCS has been successfully upgraded from version 9.0.6 to 9.0.7.

This vendor-classified Maintenance Release includes security hardening, dependency updates, improved payment processing, and multiple backend reliability improvements.

Implemented Improvements

The update includes the following vendor maintenance enhancements:

• Added an IP allowlist for invoking scheduled cron tasks through HTTP requests
• Improved security around email previews
• Applied multiple vendor-classified security fixes
• Updated the JMS Serializer software library
• Added a System Health Check notification for deprecated modules
• Improved Invoice Creation Hook handling when merging invoices
• Blocked direct access to email campaign attachments and hidden Knowledgebase image attachments
• Improved handling of invalid data during null-IV migration
• Resolved an error affecting the 360 Monitoring landing page
• Improved callback encryption for the GoCardless payment module
• Improved security when paying invoices through PayPal Payments
• Improved payment capture logic in the Admin Area for the Stripe Dynamic Payment Gateway
• Removed the deprecated HipChat notification module
