Summary
As part of our routine platform maintenance and security program, the HOST-C billing and customer management platform powered by WHMCS has been successfully upgraded from version 9.0.6 to 9.0.7.
This vendor-classified Maintenance Release includes security hardening, dependency updates, improved payment processing, and multiple backend reliability improvements.
Implemented Improvements
The update includes the following vendor maintenance enhancements:
- Added an IP allowlist for invoking scheduled cron tasks through HTTP requests
- Improved security around email previews
- Applied multiple vendor-classified security fixes
- Updated the JMS Serializer software library
- Added a System Health Check notification for deprecated modules
- Improved Invoice Creation Hook handling when merging invoices
- Blocked direct access to email campaign attachments and hidden Knowledgebase image attachments
- Improved handling of invalid data during null-IV migration
- Resolved an error affecting the 360 Monitoring landing page
- Improved callback encryption for the GoCardless payment module
- Improved security when paying invoices through PayPal Payments

- Removed the deprecated HipChat notification module
